When Robert De Niro first set eyes on the untamed shores of Barbuda more than three decades ago, he couldn’t have known that the wild, whispering coastline would one day become the setting for his most personal and ambitious hospitality venture yet. 

At 81, the actor is in the Caribbean overseeing his most ambitious hotel project yet, where rooms cost $2,500 a night — and doing the morning feeds with his baby daughter Gia.

The actor has long had a second career as a hotelier and restaurateur. Now, he and his partners are planning to open a luxury inn on the Caribbean island of Barbuda.

Robert De Niro’s hospitality empire is welcoming its newest member … the actor is opening a luxury inn in the Caribbean later this year, The New York Times reported. Called Nobu Beach Inn, the property will be welcoming guests to Barbuda, an island around 38 miles north of Antigua.
